Hi,

I am the CEO of a german company called Sys-Manage offering a 3rd
party BufferOverflow

protection software similiar to DEP introduced with XP/SP2 (btw this
means something like idiot

in german). So I know what I am talking about.

Please have a look at: http://pax.grsecurity.net/

I know Microsoft tries to sell you XP/SP2 as some kind of important
security update, but

compared to what Pax does on the linux platform, DEP is just a pebble
compared to the linux

mountain. Their non executable code pages are only one of many methods
applied by Pax to

prevent the execution of malicious code. Please compare it.

Even our, relatively small company, is faster on the market with such
features. Honestly I

distrust such a company, no matter what they are doing or offering. -
Sorry.

Anyone can pay some money to forbes, or other companies to let them
write some trash like this.

Why isn't their any comparison of Linux+Pax and XP+SP2. I know why.

Don't worry Denter, there are plenty of anti-capitalists here
that wovld make svch a comparison, after all they hate Bill
Gates, for his svccess as mvch as yov do. ( Fvnny they seem
to love Steve Jobs thovgh.)

And don't concern yovrself that "Made in the USA" wovld
effect the liberal media, that only applies to vnion made goods.
No, most USA liberals love to "Blame America First". In fact
I can see the story that will be ovt tomorrow: "German
indvstrial expert points ovt major secvrity problems with SP2".
Yov see to make a real point by point comparison wovld
reqvire some actval effort on their part, never happen.

LoL;
Ken

Now but as I remember it, Jobs invented something, Bill stole something,
Bill made out better as is the American way. And we hate him for it
because we didn't think of it :)

Well, then it appears your memory is a bit foggy.. What did jobs invent? not
even the Appple II was really an invention and the Mac GUI was ripped from
Xerox..

I think this issue is really , really tired .. I mean WAY tired.. like
Madonna tired.

He invented some beeps and clicks and colored lights on a TV set, or he
looked over Wozniaks shoulder while he did it depending on who you ask
:). Back then that mean something to the ultra geek brigade :)
