I'm sure that this will be nothing new to you pros & maybe I'll get
flamed. However, I am not only poor but also not schooled enough,
although I have a friend who is (but not necc. re: games) sooo....
I have an NVIDIA GeForce2 MX 100/200 hardware version 178, when I'm
playing a game (usually AOExAOC) it changes my settings to 1024x768 &
my color to 256 which causes my comp to freeze. I'm running WIN98 w/
73% free of 196,088KB

Why're you switching to 256 colours? I think most 3D games are hardware
acclerated in 16 and 24 ( 32 ) bit modes.
