What is the story on this battery - any good? I understand it is a
decent no frills phone.

I currently have the 7000 right now (upgrading tomrrow tho ) I have to say that the phone is a very nice solid phone. My front LCD is broke, but thats due to my error. Also the major thing I don't like about the phone is if you use vibrate alert the screws slowly unscew themselves and u have to rescrew. apart from that minor complaint, which really is for all phones, the 7000 is a vry good phone and i am still using the original battery after 2+ years, still holds a very good charge

i also have the vx 7000. love this thing. best camera on a phone i've seen. lol the front screen is also broke on mine. my fought though. i've droped it so many times it's not even funny. it's like a military phone just not water resistant. (i dont think). wish it had speaker phone though.
