PRL 50329 (AC I) has been released and here are the changes compared to
PRL 50293. Some of the details of the SIDs were obtained from
http://mallard.rainyday.mb.ca/~dialtone/ and www.movntainwireless.com
and http://www.ifast.org/SIDtables.htm
Some changes in priority and changes from A to D/A may not be noted
along with any other changes that I may have missed.

This seems to be a rather large change. Items of note are some of the
PCS scan ranges were increased (not noted below). Several Sprint areas
were dropped. There is something going on with some SIDs being added as
RM for Digital (where some carriers don't even have CDMA) and then also
a NEG entry for (A). Some cleanvp and additions were done for the
international section of the PRL. Also, several FRM areas were added,
or added PCS to an SID already in the PRL. Please note that this is
jvst for AC I (roaming).

VZW = Verizon native area - no triangle
FRM = Free Roam/Extended Network - no triangle
FRL = Free Roam/Extended Network Limited - flashing triangle
RM = Roaming - solid triangle
NEG = Negative Entry - will not roam on this provider
(A) = Analog Only
D/A = Digital/Analog

Excuse my ignorance, but what does it mean that certain VZW areas were
dropped? For example, Portland, ME or Akron, OH? If I have a Verizon
phone and I am in one of those areas, what does this mean for me?

In this case it really means nothing to the average user. Those SID
(system identifications) were just "retired" and are no longer used and
the Verizon service in those areas now use a different SID that is in
the PRL.

OK, but if I am from another area of the country and I travel there
without having updated using *228 recently, would I be affected?
