Don't let the brainwashed VZW flunkies get to you about the BT.

I have already hacked the 815 for both full BT capabilities and flash card
transfer to phone.

It only took a few seem edits and I am making a web page now on how to do
it with the tools to do it with a free download of all the necessary tools.

A very simple tutorial on where/what and how to bit manipulate and anyone
that thats wants to have full BT capability will have it.

Whatever. You launched *another* personal attack. Stop whining when people
say stuff about you, hypocrite.

Considering that I left Verizon over a year ago and very publically
complained about there situation that caused me to leave, if you really
think I'm a shill, either you're trolling or you're really stupid (I don't
think you're stupid, so I'd assume "trolling" ).

I'm not going to post the URL at stevesobol.com that forwards to that post
at Google - I've posted it enough times. Jeez, Larry, you even went there,
and read my story, remember? Your reply was "It's about time!"

I even agree with you that there should be more roaming agreements between
carriers, although I don't agree they should be FCC-mandated. Just earlier
this evening I posted how happy I am about switching to T-Mobile and being
able to use either T-Mo's network *or* Cingular's network here, whichever
has a strong signal in the spot I'm in.

If you're going to be an ass, at least try not to be an ass to someone who
agrees with you on a number of things.

Isn't there a function to reset the phone back to its factory settings?

No, Verizon overwrote the factory settings with their own settings before
you got the phone. There are no factory settings left to invoke.

Which is no different than any other provider on the planet- all of the
phones are built to the providers' specs. In this case, there happen to be
features available that Verizon chooses not to have on phones using their
network. Where's the problem?

I doubt if the VZW service hacks would even notice any seem edits.
They just order you a replacement phone if they confirm yours is broken.

Uhhh, that wasn't the point. People should be aware that
it voids the warranty and then they can weigh the risk in
deciding if they want to do it. Otherwise, if somebody is
denied warranty service because of it they are probably
going to sue that guy with a class action suit because he
didn't spell it out in bold print on his web site with the
directions.

-Quick
