I transferred a few JPG files to the transflash memory. All if ok except it
will not display 2 of the files. In the menu it shows the name of the file
and a X where the thumbnail should be. The same JPG views fine on my
computer in 4 different programs. Any idea why the v710 does not like
certain JPG's?

Thanks B

my e815 book that older jpg's used a different somethingerother (having
to do with compression maybe?) and the phone would not display them...
my fear was that shots taken on my 5 year old digi camera would not
work - but they did :)... Are the jpg's mentioned older? try cropping a
bit and resaving under a different filename? or copy/paste a portion of
the image to a new frame?

forgive the technobabble... I COULD quote the book... if I knew where
it was

You might try reducing the resolution/colour depth?
Size restriction: Height Width?
RTFM for pic requirements.

Likely that the filename is too long. Try renaming them.

Will the V710 work with progressive JPG's. Most hand held devices will not.
