A very good friend of mine just got a Verizon v710. I was impressed
with the phone until I tried to send her some ringtone mp3s I had via
bluetooth. I read up that Verizon crippled/omitted some of the
phone's bluetooth, the class action law suit in California and
Motorola's broken promises to release a firmware update to restore the
missing bluetooth features.

She is still within her 18 days of try it to see if you like it phase.

Without giving up any of the good features of the V710, what phone
does Verizon currently offer that has a fully functioning bluetooth?
Sticking with Motorola is not a major concern. Any input an opinions
welcome.

Sorry Harry,

But if you want a phone with full bluetooth features you will have to
look at another carrier other than Verizon. Verizon continues to
cripple their phones so that you will have to use their Get it now
software. Their are ways to edit the seem within the software to access
full bluetooth but if you don't know what your doing you could fry your
phone. That's the trade off, full bluetooth with lousy service with
another carrier, or crippled bluetooth with good overall service with
Verizon. Not a good choice but a choice nevertheless.
