I recently purchased an LG VX10 flip as a replacement phone.

This has to be the most difficult phone to "program", and the worst
instruction manual I've come across after 10 or so different mobile
phones.

If you enter a name and number in the Address Book, and want to edit
or delete that entry, the manual says (on page 66) "At any entry, you
may move to another entry by pressing Up/Down key. If you press Soft
Key 1 Option, you can save or erase."

When I navigate to an entry, and press Soft Key 1, it allows me to
view the full details of the entry. That's all, though. No option to
delete the entry. No option to edit the entry.

I did find (through a post here) a way to delete all entries, but
can't find a way to delete or edit a single entry.

You're right-- it is a real PIA and one of the few things I don't like about
this phone.

To get to an editable screen, you need to hit PIM, then select option 2-
Find Name, then enter the first letter or two of the name, then hit Find.
When it pops up on that screen, you can edit it.

Alternately, it you know the memory slot it's stored in, you could hit
option 1- Find Entry (instead of Option 2 above) and enter the 3 digit
location.

OK, that did it. Thanks.

I'm curious about how you figured this out. If it's in the manual, I
sure couldn't find it.

My phone, BTW, is a replacement for a phone I went swimming with.
(Nokias don't like this) Purchased on eBay, it didn't come with a
manual, but I downloaded a manual as a .pdf. Perhaps this manual is
less instructive than the one that comes with the phone.
