When will verizon introduce the Raza v3 into there line of products?
I am tempted to go over to Cingular to get the phone and service.

Mr. Huntley,

The RAZR V3 is a GSM Phone (Cingular) Verizon is a CDMA Network, unless
motorola redesigns the v3 from the ground up to operate on a CDMA
Network Verizon will never have the V3 in their phone line up. I
strongly suggest you google the previous terms (GSM and CDMA) for
further understanding. Look carefully at the coverage maps between the
2 providers and decide if getting a nice looking phone is worth only
getting service in high population density areas.

There is a CDMA Razr, due in the US 3 or 4Q this year from what I
understand...
The first release of the CDMA Raza does have A-GPS, so it will not be on the
market here, but
a version with GPS is in development.

Actually, GSM coverage is improving rapidly. Established carriers including
the Cellular One brands (Dobson and Western Wireless, namely), Cingular, the
Former AT&T Wireless network, and many other regional and local carriers are
implementing GSM. In some parts of Florida, Cingular beats Verizon Wirless
hands down for signal.

However, you need to choose a phone/plan that right for *you*. Would you be
willing to pay more for a plan that "will help rapidly update the video
capabilities of users in North Dakota"?
