What is the difference between 1.0 and 2.0 mobile web. I was on the line
with a CSR and she couldn't tell me.

Thanks for any info

I don't know the TECHNICAL differences, but 2.0 will show more graphics.
I believe it uses the picture capability of the phones better, which
most all have these days. Web 1.0 on my 4400 would only show simple
graphics. My web 2.0 on the Motorola V710 seems to load much faster.
It probably uses the 1X network capability, whereas web 1.0 on the 4400
seemed as slow as a 14.4 modem.

Thanks. Funny that you would know that and VZW CSR wouldn't.

CSRs aren't techies. The reps in Tech Support might have known, but I
wouldn't expect CSRs to.

The internet knows... I won't expect the CSR to be able to find it and read
it back on their computer.
Simple enough, no added cost, and everybody feels better.

Had it switched over to 2.0 this morning and can not tell the difference.
Maybe on the far side it would be a little and mean a little bit faster but
the graphics are the same, so no big deal.

I'm not sure what you mean by "switched over to 2.0". I thought that it
just depended on what browser software your phone has in it and what WAP
site it points to. When I replaced a 730 (Mobile Web 1.0) by a 710
(Mobile Web 2.0), it magically started doing "Mobile Web 2.0", and
nothing changed in my account.
