I have been very pleased with Outpost 2.1.292 with one exception and
that is it seems to lose it's settings of blocked applications quite
often.

For example, I use Firefox as my Web Browser and I can access 100 sites
and it will work fine.

All of a sudden Outpost will pop up a message saying that the program
has changed and would I like to update the settings.

Yet I have not changed anything.

This happens with other programs as well, like Agent and again nothing
has changed.
Again nothing has changed with any of these programs. File sizes are all
the same and dates look good.

The system is virii/trojan/spyware free. (Kaspersky/Spybot/Adaware etc)

Just on a whim I un-installed Outpost and installed Kerio to see if I
would have similar results and I did NOT so I know that it is Outpost.

Anyone else have this problem?

Is there a solution?

ZoneAlarm used to do something like that with it's dll checking too. I'd
say the solution is to go with the firewall that works. In this case that
would be Kerio...

It's not a problem. You likely have it set to authenticate new .dll's
your applications call.
Maybe Kerio doesn't have .dll authentication set as a default.

I have previously experienced this problem with Mozilla and Firefox
especially after updating these programs with ZIP-files.
The solution to the problem was closing down Outpost and deleting the
files modules.ini and modules.0 in the Outpost directory and then
start Outpost again and updating Mozilla and Firefox by using their
installers.
