I have my PS3 at college at Cal State Fullerton and I cant connect to the PSN. I have a wired connection and I get an IP and internet connection but fails everytime i try to sign into my psn. any ideas of what I can do? thanks

your best bet would be to look on the playstation forums. There probably is a quick help guide to anwser most questions like this.

But if you would like help here, what are the errors it is giving you? Is your campus blocking psn's service?

Chances are your University blocks some of the ports needed to connect (many do). If that is the case you can request they unblock the following, but be prepared to be told no :(
