hey i have
pentium 4 3.00ghz
1gb ram
8600gt ddr3
mafia 2 is lagging on my pc. and see some puple or yellow objects in gameplay. why?i install latest nvidia and physx drivers.
even on low settings.
i saw videos that other users run it smooth.

Do you meet the minimum requirements to run it? your specs are low. Turning off Physx may help a little.

Try overclocking?

As for the ram issue, try the module in different slots, if it still beeps, get a replacement.

i think the problem with that is that he might have gotten a stick that is incompatible with his mobo.

as far as requirements, GPU - borderline, RAM - below spec for minimum, CPU - below spec for minimum. So yeah, that's why it's lagging/ running slow. You need a better computer
