Yeah, you'll be fine. The game was released back in 2002.

I recommend the following mods to improve graphics:

Morrowind Visual Pack- Combined (3.0)
http://elderscrolls.filefront.com/ [...] ined;56241

Bloodmoon Landscape Overhaul (I assume you have the GOTY version w/ all expansions)
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy. [...] il&id=5268

Better Bodies
http://elderscrolls.filefront.com/ [...] dies;57981

Better Heads
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy. [...] il&id=2735

The above sites can provided you with a lot of mods to enhance Morrowind's graphics, game play, weapons, armor, spells, new quests, etc...

Don't install a bunch of mods at the same time because they can conflict with each other or somehow make your game crash. Install mods one at a time, then play the game to test it out to see if you like it and it does not conflict with anything else.

Do you recommend that I just install Overhaul 2.01 or something? I'm new at PC gaming. I think it's a group of mods.

I never played the game with Overhaul 2 so I can't say. Yes it is a group of gameplay mods.

Generally, when I test out mods for Morrowind I always fully backup the Morrowind directory (like Morrowind-BAK) because some mods can overwrite game files or other mod files. If it turns out you don't like the mod or it makes your game unstable, then you don't have to sit there and try to figure out what files to delete. Also, when testing out mods do not save over other saved games because if the mods cause problems, then you may need to restart from an earlier point which means you loose some progress.

Before actually installing any mods that makes lots changes to gameplay, you might want to just the game as it is to see what you would like to change.
