I rebooted my computer, and my HD says I only have 3.46GB left, and 10GB
total. This happened before, and when it got to 5mb, I couldn’t download
anything (I never fixed it. I just rebooted the computer). Is this a virtual
memory thing that someone can help me with? I should have 60GB and 512MB.

When I bought my computer, it had on FAT32, and then about 4 months ago,
someone told me to switch to NTFS. On my HD info, it says I’m using 10 GB as
my capacity and 512 bytes as my Allocation unit size. I’m pretty sure the
capacity should be 512MB.

If you have 512MB of RAM, that should be fairly sufficient. Try to fix the
size of virtual memory to something like 1GB (System properties [Right click
“My computer� and select properties� -> Advanced -> Performance -> “Settings�
button -> “Advanced� tab -> “Virtual memory� -> “Change� button -> select the
“Custom size� option and type in the “initial size� as 1024 and “maximum
size� as 1537. Click “Set� button and click ok to apply the changes.
Also try to reduce the number of applications that you’re running
concurrently and un-install any unwanted applications that are starting at
the system start up or exit them if possible (most such applications could be
exited by right clicking and selecting “Exit� or “Unload� on the icon if
running on the system tray.

I'm a little confused by your post,are you talking about RAM memory or hard
drive space or both?

I was posting the information for the benefit of MAP!

However, if you must multi post I have to say it is not considered good
practice to post separate messages thereby preventing recipients from
knowing that you have posted in other groups and what replies have been
given. What you have done stands to waste others time answering problems
, which have already been answered.

This advice covers cross posting when using the web interface:

post the same question to more than one newsgroup and don't know how to
cross-post, this tip is for you:

If you take your question or comment and post it to one newsgroup, and
then
post it to another newsgroup, that's called multi-posting. What's
frustrating about multi-posting is you might end up with two totally
separate threads in two different newsgroups. You have to check two
places
for your answer, and the experts who are trying to help you expend more
energy dealing with multiple posts.

Ideally it's best to just pick one forum and post there, but if you're
really concerned about someone missing your post, it is much better to
cross-post than to multi-post. When you cross-post, you send the same
post
to more than one newsgroup and the newsreaders should keep track of the
cross-posts. I sent this message to all seven SMS forums at the same
time,
but when you read it in one forum, it should be marked as read already
by
your newsreader and you won't see it again when you go to another SMS

forum. Now I only have to go to one place to read all the responses.

If you really have to cross-post and you are using Outlook Express:

done, click OK. If you cross-post, it is recommended that you set a
newsgroup for followup so you know where the responses will be. To set
the
followups to go to a specific forum, you need to display all of the
headers.
When the new message window is open, on the View menu, click All
Headers.
