i was going to post this in a mp3 group, but they all seemed filled with
junk...
I have a laptop and desktop that are on a wireless network.
I also have a radio that has surround sound, with a video port. Do they make
a device that could pick up my music so it can be streamed to my radio? some

There are a ton of devices that allow you to stream your MP3s to your
stereo. Some do video and pictures as well, so you can hook 'em up to your
TV.
Take a look at the websites of the usual suspects: Linksys, D-Link,
Netgear... also, Creative Labs makes at least one model, as does a small
company called Slim Devices (www.slimdevices.com).
good luck,
Jonathan
