Just read David's article on said subject.I,for one,am ticked off with cell phone manufactures. There is a segment of this population that could give a rats a** about cameras or web access. Just offer a plain Jane, no frills , cell phone. Mine is now 5 years old, works ok but is beaten up pretty good.Try and find a new phone without any features....good luck ! If someone knows of one, post it here. I will be more than appreciative. Thanks David for writing what I was thinking. Hello Nokia,Motorola et al, are you listening ?

I think I probably got the last of the no frill cell phones. I have a Motorola v60t. It is small, keeps good signal, and has really nice battery life. No camera, no cdma, no frills, and a solid antenna (not the pull out kind).

I had a Nokia 8210(Europe). This was at its introduction the smallest phone in the world. I love that phone. I wish I still had it. A no frills phone. Easy to stow away.

Now I have the Motorola V3. It's a beautiful phone except it's not practical for me. I'm a very active person except when I'm on the net(lol). I'll probably sell this phone and see if I can find another 8210.

Right now I have the Nokia 6610 and the Motorola V3. I switch between those two. I also have the Startac 130. One of the best phones Motorola ever came out with.
