Tomato is a small and simple replacement firmware for Linksys’ WRT54G/GL/GS, Buffalo WHR-G54S/WHR-HP-G54 routers.
Tomato firmware can unlock advanced functionalities from your router and gives the network management capabilities of much more expensive enterprise gear. With this firmware, you can increase your router’s output power, create your own rules to eliminate different kinds of network traffic and monitor bandwidth.
Furthermore, it increase the capability of maximum connections for P2P, allows you to run custom scripts or Telnet/SSH as well as re-program the SES/AOSS button.
