With values of just over 2000 MB/s, the memory bandwidths of both notebooks verge on the theoretical maximum value of 2100 MB/s (DDR2100 RAM). Since memory accesses are never performed without the involvement the CPU, the memory performance diminishes (-10%), in line with the reduced processor clock rate in battery mode.
