The Spotlight: Mozilla's Firefox 5.0?

The Spotlight: Mozilla Firefox 5.0?

In this episode: 3000 hours of Olympic coverage online, Hulu goes HD, Jobs says "I'm Sorry", Delta logs on, the biggest credit card bust and Mozilla concept browser looks totally cool. Plus a USB padlock...really.

I just wanted to point out the fraud, it's mainly due to the idiot employee's not turning off the debug modes in their debit card readers. The debug mode allows a user to remotely access all stored information if they are within range of the reader (that could be in the parking lot). The reader can hold the mag strip and your PIN, which once downloaded is then sold to someone else to put on a new card and then used at the ATM. These compromises have been known for 3-4 years and most of them have already been handled. As far as this being a digital issue, no... the internet is safe for the most part. What you really need to worry about is the companies you do business with, they usually suck at internet security.

Hey, you finally fix the bad camera angle so you don't look a squished midget anymore.
