2. Luxury Design

Much of device's front-end side is taken up by a big 2.5" LCD screen. With a resolution of 160x160, it is very clear, albeit in shades of gray. Ah, if only we could have the same thing in color and a resolution of 320x320...

Still, the blue backlighting is excellent for the monochrome display. All the browse and information functions are highly legible.

On the other hand, the monochrome photo display is just good enough to see what the photo is, no more. On the side is a splendid Compact Flash card reader, which is really what the Gmini is about. It means you can offload photos when you are out and about and away from a computer. But really, we find it hard to see why the Gmini only has a CF and not an SD. Both formats are very common now, but here only Compact Flash digital camera owners can use it.
