Every gamer has done it at least once: raised a ruckus so bad they scared or annoyed family or neighbors. I once terrified a neighbor during a Quake deathmatch she was ready to call the cops, not knowing what that racket was. At the same time, people want to use a microphone to talk to friends while gaming, as typing out instructions in some of these real-time scenarios just doesn't cut it any more. Imagine typing instructions during COD: Black Ops multiplayer. Yeah that won't work.

Headphones are the most common solution, but have their shortcomings: they lack positional audio and often times, affordable headphones are cheap and leave you in pain after a brief period.

Creative's Fatal1ty headphones kill two birds with one stone, and then some. They are well-padded and soft, so you can tolerate them for hours of play. They have a removable microphone, which is great if you are just listening and don't want that blocking you while you eat or drink.

Thanks to Creative's own Sound Blaster technology, the speakers boast positional audio that, since it comes through the USB port and not the sound card, some people felt were better than their sound options. Plus, Newegg has them for 40% off, making them a bargain stocking stuffer.

This is really a great mouse for MMO-RPG's due to the large amount of buttons on the side for extra keybinds. They wouldn't really be needed for FPS, but for an MMO keybinds are highly valued. For an up to date guide on the best gaming mice you can check out this link Best gaming mouse
