Want to get mom a camera? We picked out 3. How about an all-in-one or HDTV for the den/office/bedroom? We've got those too, plus more tech accessories mom will appreciate.
Toshiba 32SLV411U 32-Inch HD LED TV/DVD ComboThis TV isn’t destined for the living room. But we bet mom could find a clever use for it. It is ideally suited for conveniently playing a favorite DVD—the slot-loading player is built into the side. At first we were skeptical—what, no Blu-ray player? But now we get it: many kids like to watch the same videos over and over again, and they’re not always on Blu-ray discs. In fact, they’re often older titles from years past that may not even be available on Blu-ray. While some parents make do in satisfying their offspring with DVDs played on a laptop, this skinny LED HDTV can do the job better. And we think children-of-a-certain-age can more easily get a handle on operating this built-in DVD player than one connected with a bunch of wires.
We think 32 inches is the proper size for a kitchen nook, bedroom, playroom or office. The 720p resolution displayed on this LED panel makes DVDs—especially animated ones—look crisp and vibrant. We’re not suggesting mom should clutter the room up with more wires—that would defeat the purpose of this elegant set-up—but this TV has two HDMI ports for when she’s just got to connect more boxes to it. At just a hair thicker than 2.5 inches we think she’ll want to keep its setup clean and simple. Other ports include component video, VGA, and a USB Port.

Nice idea, but needs moar inspiration, pls. My mom already has all of these types gadgets (at least, of the ones she'd actually use).
Thanks, but try harder.
save money, trade moms with your best friend, I'm' your mother lover
bit_user, what are you getting your mom this year?
Your mom is very unusual and lucky to already have all of these types of gadgets. When it comes to digital cameras, we find that though most people already have one, most people replace theirs every 3-4 years, so for at least 25% of our readers, this year might be the year to buy a new one.
As for "try harder," why don't you try a little harder with your suggestions?
Thanks for reading.
