Tel Aviv (Israel) - A member of an Israeli intelligence unit was jailed for 19 days after military officials discovered that he posted his picture to the popular social networking site Facebook. The Israeli defense ministry says young soldiers are often posting their pictures along with sensitive information about bases, procedures and even submarines to social networking sites.

The ministry reviewed social networking sites earlier this year and found that nearly 100 personnel posted pictures and information. Some of those soldiers were jailed, while others got off with a verbal reprimand.
