Hynix To Cut NAND Flash Production

Hynix Semiconductor has decided to cut production of NAND flash amid an industry-wide over-supply and fast falling prices, according to sources within the memory industry.The output reduction from Hynix will account for about 5% of worldwide capacity, and the impact will be seen in about two months’ time during the second quarter, the sources said.
