IC designer Realtek Semiconductor has announced it will supply Fujitsu with the key component to bring to market a range of notebooks featuring Wireless USB in the US and Europe during 2008. Wireless USB builds on the USB ecosystem, now with over two billion wired ports, by adding the convenience and ease-of-use of wireless operation based on ultra-wideband technology.
