CompUSA To Be Sold Off In Parts

Electronics retailer CompUSA announced that it has been acquired by an affiliate of restructuring and investment firm Gordon Brothers Group. While all 103 retail will be kept open during the Christmas season, the retail operation will wind down after that.

Gordon Brothers said that "active discussions are under way" to sell select stores in key markets as well as the firm’s service and Internet sales business units.
