The table gives an overview of the mobile Pentium 4-M CPUs we tested and the corresponding desktop processors.

As can be seen from the technical specifications, the mobile P4-M processors we tested were all derived from the desktop CPU with a Northwood core. They have a 512 kB L2 cache and are manufactured using the 0.13-micrometer production process. Some people are probably wondering where the 1.4 and 1.7 GHz Pentium 4 CPUs are to be found in the summary: the Pentium 4 with Northwood core was never offered in these speed variants.
