Anyone have information regarding the pro's and cons of the above phones?

If you want the best, you'll need to wait for the V710. The VX6000 is a bit
dated at the this point and the 4600 is the same less the 300K pixel camera.
They will both be discontinued by the end of the summer, most likely.

The V710 is the new flagship CDMA from Motorola due out in June. It has a
1.2 megapixel camera, bigger & higher rez main screen, Bluetooth, speaker
independent dialing (phone book entry and digits), a memory slot, a metal
case, and analog capability for those times when you need it.

Alot of good if the BLUETOOTH is crippled. Like most of you I await
the release of the V710, but mainly for my Tungsten T. If it can't go
online or otherwise communicate with it, ie, synch phone books and
such, it will be just another phone I won't buy.

Who needs a camera phone anyway?

For me, Bluetooth is for audio features like headsets and automobile
systems. If I use data (and I have Tungsten T3), I use a BlackBerry (or I'd
get a Treo for a better integrated solution).

I use the camera a lot a VX6000 because I travel a lot and it's fun to send
photo messages to family & coworkers. I used to carry a variety of digital
cameras and still use them for keeping quality photos (5 megapixel or more)
but you can't beat a camera phone for spontaneous pictures that always get
smiles and to help keep you in touch.

Exactly. I bought the VX4600 specifically because it didn't have that dumb
camera like the one on the VX6000. I already own a digital camera that
takes better pictures and dosen't charge me to transfer them to friends and
family ;=)

You can always get the data cable and download the pictures for free and
send them off through normal email. And, with the memory card slot in the
V710 you can store a bunch before having to empty it.
