Roaming question

I am now in an area where there is no Sprint service but am able to
use my phone when in "Digital Roam" mode but many times my phone
switches to "Analog Roam" and my call is dropped. I have three bars
usually on my Sanyo 8100 in Digital Roam and 0-1 bar in Analog Roam. I
know I can force my phone to stay in Analog Roam but how can I force
it to stay in Digital Roam? Is this possible? Any help will be greatly
appreciated.

Make sure your 8100 has PRL 10024, which prefers digital roaming over
analog in many cases. Do Menu - # - 3 to see the PRL number.

If your 8100 has 10023 or lower, call *2 and Claire might tell you your
phone will receive a free update while you wait for a minute. If so,
check that you have PRRL 10024 afterwards.
If no free update happens, tell Claire "PRL update", and then tell the
rep to please flag your phone for a PRL update. Then call back to *2
in a few minutes for the update process.
