truesinc or phone tools?

Good day. I have a V60g and want to connect it to a laptop to use it as a
modem. Which do I need, truesinc or phone tools. Also if I decided to use
gprs again which software package will work best: truesinc or phonetools?

You don't need any extra software for either CSD or GPRS. You just need a
means of connection (e.g., serial cable) and the correct modem INF file (aka
"driver") for the modem. The operating system in your laptop can take care of
the rest. All the add-on software does is simplify the process.

Check for downloads from the manf of the phone. Or search with Google.
You may even get by with a generic driver. How to install it depends on the
OS; e.g., Add a modem in Windows Control Panel.
