uhhh, no. It's kind of indicative of how self centered we have
become. Are you saying that if you didn't own a cell phone the
court wouldn't have given you the dispensation? "I will allow you
to go to the funeral under the condition that you have a cell phone
and keep it turned on."...? Somehow I doubt it.
1) give them 2 numbers. Your cell phone to try first and the phone
number of the funeral parlour to try second.
2) give them you cell phone number and forward your cell phone
to the funeral parlour during the funeral.
If it was outside at the cemetary I imagine that the funeral people
have in car phones and other discreet ways to communicate.
Even so, how long does it take for the ceremony outside of
the parlour? you couldn't have waited to check your vmail?
