Two numbers being ported from ATT to Cingular.

Both on same account at ATT and will be on same person's account on
Cingular.

Two v400 phones.

One went OK, took over night (maybe because it was Sunday). ATT phone
stopped working and one of the Cingular phones now works for same
number

The second phone number is a mess. Second Cingular phone shows no
recognized sim.

ATT phone has stopped working.

Can't call out on either att nor new Cingular phone. Attempting to
call in gets a fast busy signal.

What could be going on?

Inauspicious start.

In the East.

They claim they had some sort of backup. All well now.

Strange that it took more then 30 hours longer for one phone then the
other to be registered even though ordered simultaneously.

Thanks anyway for the offer of help.
