Hello

I just recently switched from the Tracfone digital to a Verizon LG
VX3200 Pay As You Go phone. Since I don't talk on the phone much (no
more than say 15-20 minutes a month this phone is good for me.
However when I am on vacation I tend to talk a lot more.

I was wondering since Verizon has people that are lacking the
knowledge on how to do anything with Pay As You Go phones I figured I
would ask my questions here. I've had my phone for two days now. I
struggled trying to get my voice mail setup so I took it to the local
(corp office) verizon store. Well I guess they didn't no any more
than me as it took them over 2 hours to set up my voice mail on my
phone. I did everything the book said with no luck.

What is the best way to get messages that where left on my voice mail
box. I belive I dial *86 on the phone then hit the # key. Can I get
my voice mail messages on my regular home phone without being charged.

Could you please provide all free * numbers for this phone (Pay as you
go) like *611 & *288 Are there any others

I was wondering if anyone knew of any tricks, backdoors or anything
interesting on this phone. I understand to some degree on how to
download Ring Tones ($1.99 each) and graphics ($1.99 each) but is this
deducted from your phone since it's Pay As You Go or will they send me
a separate bill.

Once I download the graphics what are they used for? Will the graphic
be my opening picture. Right now it is set for the little orange
fish.

Thanks for your help.

Michael

Call your own number and press # when the voice mail recording starts.

*611 - Customer Service
#729 - Add minutes
*228 - Update roaming list

Just go to www.vtext.com for ringtones and wallpapers. The charge is
deducted from your account balance. Should be able to use the wallpaper
graphic for your regular wallpaper or the startup/shutdown screens if you
choose. You can also open an account on www.verizonwireless.com and use it
to view call detail, view balance, etc.

I think *86 isn't right for prepaid service.
I believe your voicemail number is #738.
If that fails, call customer service and ask.

It used to be #738 but as of a few months ago, Prepay uses *86 just like
Postpay.
