I've got a Verizon cell phone. Don't know much about it. Don't use it
much.
Long story short: I've suspected that my private (off phone)
conversations were some how being monitored. Just last night I really
looked at my cell phone and realized I didn't understand a few things:
1) Why does that LED light keep blinking on and off?
But most importantly:
2) Why are there speaker holes on the outside of my phone (when it's
closed)?
I called Verizon technical support this morning, told him of my
suspicions and he told me that it sure enough was possible for our
conversations to be monitored with our cell phones on the coffee table
in front of us CLOSED. Please tell me that he misunderstood me and that
the above such monitoring is not possible.
