My PPC stopped automatically connecting to my home network

I have an ipaq and an ambicom wifi card. the other day I uninstalled some
trial software and now suddenly my wifi card won't connect to my home
network automatically. Instead, I have to drill down to the network card
settings, find my home connection, tap and hold and hit connect. Then it
connects just fine.

Anyone know how to fix this so it will connect automatically again?

I would reinstall the wifi software that came with the card.
