I have been attempting to connect my iPAQ 5555 to my Outlook 2002 program
but I cannot get it to sync up.
I have followed the instructions but have not found success.

Any suggestions besides throwing the thing out of the window?

Thanks

So you...

1. Installed Outlook
2. Installed ActiveSync
3. Cradled your iPAQ

....in that order, correct?

What OS on the desktop?
What error messages, if any when you try to sync?
Did you work through the ActiveSync troubleshooter?

Sounds like you have settings inside the server activesync tab. You need to
disable that unless you are connecting to exchange 2003 or exchange
2000/MIS. Open activesync on your pocketpc and click Tools>Options>Server
and make sure everything is unchecked under "sync these items". After that
open activesync on your desktop and click Tools>Options and select the items
you want to sync.

DO I need to uncheck the "sync with a server" box on both PPC and PC?

Thank you
