USB Host and Joystick support

I have a Toshiba e400 with winmobile 2k3. I'm debating buying a USB host
cable in hopes attaching a standard digital joypad. What I want to know,
and nobody thusfar has been able to tell me, does winmobile 2k3 have
built-in generic joystick support?

If not, I'll be looking for a joystick with windows mobile drivers
(snowball's chance) or attempting to figure out how to write my own unless
anybody here knows of a place to get one of either.

Windows Mobile does not include joystick support, primarily because most
PPCs do not have a USB Host connector.

The e400 may have joystick support from the OEM.
