Thanks much.

Best bet may be to go here http://www.nycsubway.org/maps/route/ and download
the map in PDF format and use Adobe Reader for PPC to read it. I don't know
of any application this type of thing.

Possibly the most inappropriate and thoughtless response you could have
chosen. MVP?

Paul,

Adobe Acrobat Reader 1.0 for PPC will work on any 2002 device or higher. It
works well. There is also Ansyr's Primer 3.1 but it is mega expensive for
effectively the same thing.

Hope it works out for you.

Regards,

I absolutely love the program Metro at http://nanika.net/metro. It has
subway maps (and bus maps) for all over the world, and not just for the
major cities. Just install the maps you need. They have versions here for
both the PPC and Palm versions as well as for varios alphabets.

Enter the starting and ending stations (or point of interests) and Metro
will calculate the route, where to change, as well as the approximate time
it will take.

You can also tie it into your contacts database so you can add contact homes
or offices.

I highly reccomend this program. It is free.

Thanks Jim...yes, I use Metro for directions often...the available
system data is tremendous! Is there bus data too??!! I use the subway.
I also wanted just a viewable map...looks like the .pdf and Adobe
suggestion will work well.
Thanks everyone.

As far as bus data is concerned it depends on who created the city file and
what was included. The data for the individual cities are made & donated by
the public.

I don't know about NYC, but there was bus information in the Berlin city
database as I used it last year while there.
