I have an older toshiba 2032 Pocket PC. I have a storage card in it, and I
want to movemusic files from my desktop to the storage card. What's the
fastest way? I have tried windows explorer, but it takes FOREVER!! to move
just one file.

Thanks for any help.

Get a card reader for your computer. That is by far the fastest way to
transfer music to a storage card. Also they usually only run about $15-20,
so it isn't that costly a fix.

No, they can be copied directly.

In the case of DRM protected files, _generally_ the first transfer
registers your pocketpc with your drm identification info and,
thereafter, files keyed to your PC purchases have the key to be decoded
on the PPC.

What filetype are they? Are they variable bitrate? What player/version do
you have on your ppc?

But essentially you should be ok with a few caveats. Copying and trying will
do no harm.

I use windows media player and today player to play mp3's with no
additional conversion.
