HTTP to Intranet server

Hi.
I use a QTEK2020 with a modem connection under "Work" configuration,
the modem connection is a gprs connection to my company private
network.
I have no connection under "internet".

The QTEK gets a private IP, i can ping my webserver, but when i try to
open an html page nothing happens.

I know that, when i call a page like http://servername, the PIE
consider it as an Intranet connection. I don't have any VPN connection
to reach my private network, because my modem-gprs connection is
already a private connection.

So the question is: why i cannot access my webserver?

Thank you very much for any helps...

Find the internal ip address of the <servername> and put that into the
pie address bar.

If you connect, the issue is DNS.

you might also try the qualified wins name such as \\<servername>
