Am I doing something wrong or should I be able to see a

You're not doing anything wrong. One solution is to get a copy of
SpreadCE from http://www.byedesign.freeserve.co.uk/ or another
equivalent. Or you can wait for the next version of Pocket Excel, which
is rumored to support charts.

Is there a program that will support Excel macros?

It doesn't support graphs. Read the specs for the program to see what
it does support.

You could always consider a 3rd party program to get support for them.

Look at alternatives to pocket excel check the specs carefully to
ensure that your choice supports your needs, not only macros. I
prefered planmaker after looking at the various options.

You may want to look at SpreadCE.
