Hi all,

I have a new Pocket PC which can connect to my main PC via its cradle and
USB port. I can get ActiveSync to work fine with Outlook etc. Question -
can I browse the internet or use a chat prog directly from the PPC (when so
connected) or would I need some other connectivity hardware?

Thanks for any help or pointers...

Nick

Pocket PPC is a Medion MD95025
Main PC is new (XP home) USB broadband

You can.
Dont forget to check in "Connection Settings" of ActiveSync "Allow

OK - thanks Amirov - I appreciate the quick reply!

The option you mention IS ticked, but if I then enter a URL in the PPC
internet explorer I get a Cannot connect with current settings message...
:-(

If I follow the settings link this then takes me to Connections help for:

1 - My ISP
2- My Work Network

Neither of these feels the right way forward....

Any other suggestions much appreciated.

Nick

Hmm. Strange. When i bought my PPC all began to work just i connected to
ActiveSync.
What is in connectivity ballon(two arrows icon)? "The Internet"? If not,
open settings>advanced>network card, and set it in combobox.
