Hello,

just wondering if anyone knows about Symantec releasing a full security
suite for WIndows Mobile platform, other than only the anti-virus part,
comprising a personal firewall and a data encryption product.

So far I only found Airscanner Mobile Bundle to inlcude all this.

TIA

You do realize that their --and anybody else's for that matter--
anti-virus package for Pocket PC is purely snake-oil, don't you?

Not really; although there are currently only a few viruses that can attack
a mobile device, PPC can and do act as vectors to transmit malware and
viruses to the host platform.

There is encyption in resco explorer and this software is more usefull.

I dont know any way to transmit any viruse from PPC to PC
And I know only one virus for PPC and even this one was made as experiment
and it gives notice before infection.
Anyway if something would happen I will restore from backup.
