As sent to Covertec today:

'For the attention of the Customer Service Department:

Covertec.Com

Dear Sir/Madam,

On the 6th of February I placed an order via your website for an Ipaq hx2000
series case, order #ID 'XXXXX'.

I am still waiting for delivery of the case.

I have twice emailed you to ask for progress on my order, but am amazed that
I have yet to receive any response from you.

I have now also faxed you with no response.

This is sheer ignorance on your part.

Please email me immediately with the reason for your non-reply and a
proposed delivery date for my case.'

I'd consider this a case of arrogance on their part, rather than ignorance.

They state that they are updating their website and email correspondence
will not be possible. Why don't you get hold of their phone number and
contact them directly?

Unfortunately, the European number they publish (discovered by accident by
choosing their US site) - leads to a recorded message in French. It does
give you the option of sending a fax, which I have done - still no success.

I don't even seem to be able to cancel the order either - not without
speaking to someone first.

It may be poor business methods in your eyes, but ignorant bastards?
If you are going in with that approach - as you did in your *very
first* posting in the thread- then their approach is probably
understandable, and justifiable. Look to yourself as being part of the
problems you encounter in life.

Good advice, thanks.

"Look to Si as being part of the problems you encounter in life."

okay, got it. It even makes sense. For example, someone asks me, "Did you
cause this mess?" I can answer, "Si". Or if they say, "You are causing a
lot of the problem yourself, you know", the answer again can be, "Si".

:)

(sorry, could not refuse.)

Alan,

Perhaps you should read my post again - at the point of posting, I had
emailed them twice AND faxed them - they don't publish a voice number.

My first email simply asked for progress on my order....I was not at all
aggressive.

However, after another unanswered email and unanswered fax, then yes, I was
a little angry.

I therefore stand by my posting.

Si.

That is your choice. But you seem to stand alone.

Really,

The first response to my posting was supportive and now yours has been
negative.

Fairly even I'd say.
