Sorry if this isn't the right place, but the author of GSPlayer
(http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA032810/) seems to be quite elusive.

Does anyone else have trouble with the menubar in the latest version of
GSPlayer?? On my old iPaq, there is a blank space at the bottom of the
window instead of "File List Tools [etc]". I have been using it for
years and didn't have any trouble with it up until the 2.0x versions,
at which point the menubar disappeared making the player mostly
useless.

Alternatively, would anyone know where to find previous versions??

Many thanks!

I had considered some interaction between apps. So for fun I did a hard
reset and loaded GSPlayer immedately after the reset. No luck, same
behavior.

For what it's worth, this is an iPaq 3630 running the 1.87 ROM.

If you have the zips I'd appreciate them... Either the gmail address or
unperturbed Yahoo! address will work.

No problem on my ipaq with the latest (2.22) version. Are you running any
system enhancements etc that might be messing with it? I have the 1.82 and
2.08 zips, I can send those if you want to try them, but it'd be worth
trying to get the latest version working first.

I appreciate the zips. The 2.08 version does the same. 1.82 works,
albeit an old version missing some features. Beggars can't be choosers
I suppose.

Some good news. For fun I loaded the HPC version of GSPlayer 2.22 . It
runs well on my iPaq and all the menus work (tap the border, the full
menu comes up), albeit a little awkward because the menus are setup for
an HPC screen which results in a bit of window dragging to reach all
the settings... Oh, and it doesn't appear to have any key remapping
options... (ooooohhh... By default it remaps the joypad the way I
normally do... cool!!!)

The 1.87 ROM (PPC 2000) was the last one Compaq produced for my iPaq.
AFAIK, this old 3630 is as up to date as it's going to get. I would
have to go to PPC 2002 for anything newer, which I have tried before
and was a complete disaster.

Again, thanks!

Ok, the 1.82 & 2.08 zips are on their way to the yahoo address. Can't think
of much else to suggest. I take it the 1.87 ROM is the latest available for
your device?

No problem either for me with 2.21 or 2.22 on LOOX 600 PPC2002.
