USB redirect for Blackberry with RDP

I have a user that wants to plug in his berry at home, and connect to his work machine with RDP (Terminal Services / Remote Desktop) so he can sync it usingthe software installed on his work machine. That requires the USB port to be redirected so the remote machine sees the berry. The only software I see out there for this is a crazy amount of money. Anybody know a more reasonably priced option or a better way to do it ?
