What do the company really mean by unlimted data

i went to car toys and the guy that was helping said when verision and sprint say unlimited data they really mean 5gb and o more
is that true and have you experienced it

Buwish is right... however I know i have gone over my 5 gigs (lots of online radio streaming) and not been charged.... however it was super hard to get that high... If you do things they dont intend you to use it for you will see some super bills :p (using your phone as a modem without paying for it)
 


I concur. Unless you do a lot of video or audio streaming, there is no way that anyone is going to even hit 1GB per month. Even casual web surfing will not get you anywhere near 5GB. I do not do either on my BB and I've never gone over 100MB in a month.

Yes it is true I work in the business. I see people go over when they use streaming things like Pandora or something like that. Downloading movies kills data also. Here is a interesting stat at ATT 95% of data customers use less than 2gb of data....
