How to find my phone sim number when inactive

Hello,
I had bought my sim card (Vodafone) while travelling overseas(India).
I am now back home(Australia) where there is no coverage for the overseas SIM.
How can I find the mobile number for the overseas sim?

The only way i can think of is to call from the phone, but seeing as you have no reception that will not work. You may have to call Vodafone India Customer service and give them the Sim number (written on the sim) and they could find the corresponding phone number.
