Phone won't work

Hello,
My phone won't turn on and when its on the charger the LG screen pops up then it goes black. It does this over and over again until I unplug it. I tried different chagers and taking the battery out for a while, but it still won't work.

is the battery COMPLETELY dead? if so it definitely will not turn on.......

if that isnt the case then what did you do recently which could cause this to happen?

i can't pull an answer out of thin air...
